February Week One Plans!

It's almost February and that means it's time to look forward to some fun new topics!

I've had an issue with remembering the books and activities I want to do during the week, so this week I spent a little time making myself a visual reminder so I thought I would share it with you in case you might be interested!

The first week of February will be lots of fun- Groundhog Day, Chinese New Year, and some fun National Days, too! We have never done art with bubble wrap but I found some cool little ideas that we will be trying. We still have a lot of bubble wrap in the garage from when we moved. I never thought to use it for an art project!

Because the math and reading curriculum I use is open and go, it frees up a lot of my "planning" time for fun things that are extra. We may or may not get to them, but I like to plan several things during the week so I have some things to do when we have time.

We read tons of books during the day and typically have some kind of art or craft time each day. I also like using the national day food items at snack times to add some interest!

It's earthworm week in Exploring Nature with Children, so we will be doing some wormy things sprinkled in throughout the week and of course pulling out all of our Valentine's Day books.

You can click HERE to go to the file and there are clickable links to all the books and activities. Or you can download the PDF (under the picture).

What fun things will you be doing this next week? I'd love to hear all about them!

(Please let me know if you try to access the file and can't for some reason. I'm hoping I'm doing all of this technology stuff correctly!)
